SIBO is a very common disorder where there are excessive bacteria present in the small intestine. The true prevalence of SIBO in the general population is largely unknown, with some studies estimating its occurrence in up to 15% of healthy individuals. It is also largely associated with many other common clinical conditions, including irritable bowel syndrome, where 40-80% of IBS patients have SIBO.

Robert Barlow has joined the senior management of the company EnXray Ltd as Commercial Director to support the pre-commercialization activities and launch of its ground breaking Low Energy X-ray (LEXR) sterilization equipment. The LEXR equipment enables on-site and on-demand sterilization of medical devices and consumables at the point of manufacture.

Mr. Barlow joins EnXray following a successful 25-year career in commercial sales & marketing in the healthcare and medical device industry most recently at Covidien (now Medtronic) as well as with venture capital backed start-ups (e.g. Lynton Lasers and Microsulis Medical). Robert will be responsible for implementing EnXray’s commercialisation strategy, driving sales and developing customer relationships.
