ESPRIT CAM: New computer-aided-manufacturing (CAM) technology has been introduced by ESPRIT CAM, part of Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division that provides manufacturers with the control and flexibility needed to use multi-spindle and multi-channel computer-numerical-control (CNC) machinery for the machining of long parts.

May 20, 2019: Galt Medical today announced it has acquired Arrotek Medical Limited.

Arrotek Medical, located in Sligo, Ireland, develops and designs minimally invasive medical devices supporting a range of catheter-based, interventional applications. Arrotek’s capabilities include concept, design, product development, regulatory approval, and certain manufacturing services. Mark Pugh and Ger O’Carroll, co-founders of Arrotek, will remain with Arrotek in Sligo as co-Managing Directors.

Galt Medical is a subsidiary of Theragenics Corporation® and a global supplier of access and procedure products for a range of interventional and endovascular procedures.
