Hollister Introduces the Infyna Chic Intermittent Catheter: The New Catheter Received CE Approval December 2018

A Uniquely Discreet Catheter for Women

Hollister Incorporated launched the Infyna Chic intermittent catheter, the latest in the company’s line of female hydrophilic catheter products. Designed to help provide women who use catheters with a high level of discretion, the new catheter received CE approval in December 2018.

The Infyna Chic catheter will be joining the Infyna Standard and Plus catheters to complete the Infyna portfolio, offering women a range of options to meet their individual needs. In the coming months, the product will be available in Europe and Canada.

“At Hollister, we understand that discretion is vital for women who use intermittent catheters, so we’re excited to offer a discreet, convenient, and easy to use product for women,” said Michael Sorkin, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer for Hollister Incorporated. “This is a major milestone for our company, and we look forward to delivering continued customized solutions to females who use continence care products.”

Designed with input from clinicians, the Infyna Chic catheter is ready to use and comes in a pink pearlescent case. Key features also include:

  • A unique flip cap that is easy to open and close with just one hand
  • Does not leak when reclosed after using
  • Just right stiffness that helps support easy, touch-free insertion
  • Catheter length that helps give confidence the bladder is fully drained
  • Can attach to a collection bag without removing the catheter from the case

The Infyna Chic catheter is the latest product innovation from Hollister Continence Care, and complements the existing portfolio of products.  Hollister is a leader in innovation and offers a diverse portfolio of catheter products including VaPro intermittent catheters—for males and females—designed with a protective tip and sleeve.  VaPro catheters deliver 100% no touch protection from bacteria.
