Modulim announced that it has appointed six inaugural members to its newly-formed Medical Advisory Board.

Inaugural members of the Medical Advisory Board include:

Jeffrey D. Lehrman, DPM, FASPS, MAPWCA, CPC, was named as the Inaugural Chair of Modulim’s Medical Advisory Board. Dr. Lehrman is in private practice at A Step Ahead Foot & Ankle Center in Fort Collins, Colorado, and the owner of Lehrman Consulting, LLC.

Matthew G. Garoufalis, DPM, FASPS, FACFAOM, CWS, FFPM, RCPS (Glasg), is in private practice at Professional Foot Care Specialists, PC, and is the Immediate Past President of the International Federation of Podiatrists and Past President of the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA).

Michael J. King, DPM, FACFAS, FASPS, has been in private practice for 32 years in New England and is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery; he currently serves as the Medical Director of Upperline Healthcare, Inc., in Nashville, Tennessee, and is the Past President of both the APMA and the Massachusetts Podiatric Medical Society.

Kevin C. McDonald, DPM, is the President of InStride Foot and Ankle Specialists and editor of “The Diabetic Foot Book.” Dr. McDonald is also a Member of the APMA and Past President and Member of the North Carolina Foot and Ankle Society. Jennifer Spector, DPM, FACFAS, is a Podiatric Surgeon, President and Executive Board of the American Association for Women Podiatrists (AAWP), and former AAWP Scientific Conference Chair.

Phillip E. Ward, DPM, provides podiatric services at Cape Fear Valley Foot and Ankle Center in North Carolina and is certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and American Board of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Ward is Past President of the APMA, a Member of the American Medical Association’s Editorial Board and a Current Procedural Terminology Assistant and APMA Advisor to The American Medical Association (Current Procedural Terminology Panel).

Modulim’s Medical Advisory Board will meet regularly to provide input on clinical research, best practices, product design, and clinical education. The Medical Advisory Board will serve as a strategic resource as the company establishes partnerships with leading clinical centers of excellence.
