[junkie-alert style=”grey”] ResMed (NYSE: RMD) today announced the European release of its AirFit N20 Classic nasal mask for positive airway pressure (PAP) treatment, to give patients more choices for a stable mask seal and a comfortable night’s sleep. [/junkie-alert]
The company provided features of the AirFit N20 Classic:
- Forehead support that is both clear and slim to maximize comfort and visual freedom.
- The same InfinitySeal silicone mask cushion as the AirFit N20, released last year, which fit 99.4 percent of patients in an international study.1
- An adaptive frame that follows patients’ movement while they sleep to maintain an effective seal, much like the AirFit N20.
Vincent Sauvé, marketing vice president of ResMed’s sleep business notes, “Now there are two ways for healthcare providers to offer one great nasal cushion for effective PAP therapy.” “Clinicians can easily switch an AirFit N20 wearer between two frames, while keeping the same cushion, to determine which one will best help them stay on therapy and sleep better,” concluded Sauvé.
The AirFit N20 Classic is available now in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Spain, Sweden, and Turkey.
