Topcon Announces the Introduction of the IS-100 Ophthalmic Unit* to the Export Market

Topcon Medical Systems (TMS) of Oakland, NJ announced the launch of the new IS-100 Ophthalmic Unit to the Export Market. The IS-100 will replace the existing IS-600N model which has been discontinued, and includes several new features that simplifies the installation, enhances its durability and facilitates its use by the eye care professional.

The IS-100 Ophthalmic Unit can be installed for right and left-hand users and its electronics automatically adjust the voltage for 110V or 220V allowing its installation in any region. New scratch resistant surfaces provide enhanced durability. The table top provides space for 2 instruments such as a slit lamp and an auto refractor, non-contact tonometer or comparable devices. The IS-100 has a safety mechanism under the table top. This safety stopper immediately stops the vertical movement of the chair when activated.

Two models of chairs are available for the IS-100: OC-8 with fixed back and OC-9 with manual recline. A variety of optional accessories are available to customize the configuration to the needs of the user. *Not for sale in the US Page 2 of 2 MCA #3663
