Visioneering Technologies, Inc. ( a company that develops products that improve vision, announced that Carol Baez has joined the company as Executive Territory Manager, Orange County/San Diego. Baez will be responsible for introducing the unique, patented technology of the NaturalVue® (etafilcon A) Multifocal 1 Day Contact Lenses and other NaturalVue® Brand products to eye care practitioners and practices across the region.

Tony Sommer, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing discusses Baez appointment:  “We are pleased to have Carol join the VTI team.”  “Her sales and leadership abilities will support our continuing efforts to re-define better vision for patients. Carol’s extensive industry experience will allow her to effectively communicate the features, benefit and use of the NaturalVue Brand product line. This will enable our valued eye care practitioners and their staff to best meet patient needs,” added Sommer.

The company reports that Baez has more than 20 years of lens sales and retinal imaging experience in the optical industry. Her most recent position was Regional Product Specialist Field Trainer at Optos. Prior to that, she was at Essilor, where she was named Southwest Sales Person of the Year and Manager for the Essilor District of the Year, as well as being awarded the Transitions Optical ‘Award of Distinction.’ Baez earned her Bachelor of Science from Kansas State University.

“I am excited to align my optical experience with the forward momentum of VTI’s advanced patented technology,” said Baez. “As I continue down my optical career path, I believe everything I have learned and experienced up until now has led me here. I am proud to be part of the VTI team that is bringing new, vision re-defining solutions to market.”
