The new lab will add the Siemens Artis Q system to enhance imaging and invasive services. The system features high-resolution capabilities, which enhance minimally invasive therapies for peripheral vascular disease, embolization, and diagnostic examination.

“By partnering with Philips, we will be able to continue our world-class cardiovascular care system-wide, including fully renovating and installing state-of-the-art Philips equipment to provide advanced cardiovascular and neuro care at Bryn Mawr Hospital and Paoli Hospital,” said William Gray, MD, System Chief, Cardiovascular Diseases, Main Line Health and Co-director, Lankenau Heart Institute.

Holmes Regional Medical Center opted to outfit their R/F room with the capabilities of a fully functioning digital radiography (DR) room, as well as the standard features of a conventional R/F room, by installing a CARESTREAM DRX-Ascend system with an overhead tube in conjunction with the DRX-Excel Plus.
