“This system has just the right selection of features and options to take workflow to a new level of efficiency,” Ms. Chu said. “With the new floor-mount option, Carestream once again offers facilities a way to meet their needs today as well as tomorrow.”
The integration provides the opportunity for monitoring during image-guided procedures on the Philips Image Guided Therapy System – Azurion, improving workflow with comprehensive patient records that support timely clinical decision-making during interventional cardiology procedures and beyond.
SNC has received FDA 510(k) Clearance and is available as an optional feature with Carestream’s ImageView Software powered by Eclipse—the intelligent image-processing engine behind the company’s innovative imaging software—on DRX-Evolution and DRX-Evolution Plus systems.
Using its FDA-cleared QSPECT® analysis as a template, the platform can now incorporate additional imaging, such as MRI, PET and CT, and non-imaging analytical assessments through an expanding catalog of both in-house and third-party medical image algorithms.
Following the IP transfer, the new console is seamlessly integrated into the nanoScan® cryogen-free 3T and 7T MRI product line resulting in superior imaging performance. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
