Brian Taylor New Databank VP of Sales

Brian Taylor has been appointed new vice president of sales at First Databank (FDB). Brian Taylor joins FDB from fellow Hearst Health company, MCG Health, where he served as head of MCG’s premium sales group and was instrumental in driving record sales performance. Taylor will report directly to FDB President Bob Katter.

“We are thrilled that Brian has chosen to join our team,” said Bob Katter, President, FDB. “We believe Brian has the right combination of sales management experience, demonstrated sales performance, along with clinical products aptitude and personal integrity to be our next sales leader and to help FDB achieve our future growth aspirations. I am looking forward to working with Brian in his new role to bring valuable solutions to our customers.”

During his tenure at MCG, Taylor has championed proven sales methodologies that have consistently led to exceeding annual revenue growth targets. During this time, MCG has focused on driving superior value to its customers as demonstrated by its industry-leading customer satisfaction and Net Promoter Score (NPS) performance. Throughout his entire sales career, Brian has led high-performing sales teams to achieve double-digit revenue increases and has generated nearly $1 billion in revenue within startup and established businesses. Earlier in his career, Taylor held senior sales positions at Emdeon, Imprivata and 3M Health.

Commented Taylor: “I am honored and very excited for the opportunity to lead the FDB sales team. I am joining FDB at a very exciting time and look forward to working with the great team to grow the business and deliver an exceptional experience for our customers.”
