Internationally Recognized Vascular Surgeon

With a career spanning several decades, Dr. Veith has earned international acclaim for his pioneering contributions to vascular surgery, particularly in the areas of limb salvage, lung transplantation, and endovascular treatments. His groundbreaking work includes performing the first endovascular aortic repair in North America, a milestone that has significantly influenced the direction and capabilities of modern vascular surgery. His leadership and expertise have also been instrumental in managing VEITHsymposium, one of the largest annual conferences regrouping vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, interventional cardiologists, and other vascular specialists to learn the most current information about what is new and important in the treatment of vascular disease.

About Dr. Frank J. Veith Frank J Veith, M.D., is Professor of Surgery, Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH and New York University Medical Center NY, NY. Additionally, Dr. Veith occupies The William J. von Liebig Chair in Vascular Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Veith graduated from Cornell University Medical School 1955, completed his residency at Peter Bent Brigham Hospital, Harvard Medical School 1956-63 and served as Captain, U.S. Army Medical Corps and Chief, Surgical Service, U.S. Army Hospital, Fort Carlson, Colorado 1960-62.
