Mario Chaves, Jr. Promoted to Engineering Manager OKAY Industries

Mario Chaves, Jr will oversee the growth and development of the engineering team in Alajuela, Costa Rica and manage strategy and budget planning to drive execution of projects and deliver the highest quality products.   

A member of the OKAY team for 10 years, Mario Chaves, Jr. began his tenure as a machinist. He has also served in the areas of production control, purchasing, facilities, IT, and others, becoming a valued member of the strategic management team.  
 
“During the last decade, Mario has been a model for finding new ways to improve our processes and adding new technologies that have allowed us to become more competitive,” said Sean Stowik, Director of Sales and Marketing. “He has also created a strong engineering team that has elevated our position among med-tech organizations in Alajuela and surrounding areas. I look forward to seeing his continued growth at OKAY.”

Educated in mechanical engineering, Chaves, Jr. is a resident of El Coyol and enjoys mountain and road biking in his free time.
