Michael Herring plans to leverage his unique background in medical device sales management and training to further elevate the company as it continues to expand its digital health offerings.

HD Steth is the first of its kind FDA Cleared Intelligent Stethoscope with ECG and PCG in a single device. This simple to use the device with familiar stethoscope form factor and workflow enables clinicians, hospitals, and telehealth providers to capture, record, replay, and visualize heart sounds and ECG waveforms instantaneously on the HD Steth Android or Apple iOS app. The HD Steth app delivers superior ECG waveforms with the ability to detect high-frequency heart sounds indicative of murmurs.

The HD Steth provides medical professionals with access to patented algorithms and High-Definition visualization and noise-cancellation technologies that support an instantaneous diagnosis by a remote specialist, leveraging the power of AI and predictive analytics in both the HD Steth and the HD Steth app as well as in the cloud delivering connected, collaborative care.

“I’m excited to join the HD Medical team as the US VP of Sales to accelerate the domestic market adoption of HD Steth, a lifesaving intelligent stethoscope with integrated ECG,” said Michael Herring. “It’s a pleasure to represent the leading cardiac triage stethoscope innovator delivering clinicians with Instant Cardiac Insights at the Point-of-Care.”

“As our offering of digital health solutions for cardiac care continues to grow and evolve, we recognized the need for an experienced and knowledgeable team member to drive our sales team,” said Arvind Thiagarajan, founder, and CEO of HD Medical. “Mike’s background, combined with his drive and ability to ramp our sales efforts have allowed us to secure new sales representatives in several territories and progressing towards National coverage soon. His strategies will help HD Medical to continue to grow into the worldwide digital health brand that we set out to create.”
