POCN, the largest NP and PA network in the U.S., announces Nicki Wright as its new Director of NP/PA Engagement.

Nicki Wright brings over 18 years of marketing and project management experience, including science and healthcare marketing, to her new role. As Director of NP/PA Engagement, she will expand resources to help Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Associates (PAs) advance their careers and build skills to improve patient care.
Wright will play a key role in strengthening programs for NPs and PAs in the POCN community, including the Annual America’s Top NP/PA Awards, Mentor Program, Centers of Excellence and Ambassador Program. These programs highlight NPs and PAs who have made extraordinary contributions to their peers, patients, and community; enhance professional development and connection; offer resources and highlighting experts; and provide opportunities to earn and support colleagues.
“NPs and PAs play a critical role in the healthcare space, improving patient outcomes and expanding options for treatments and care,” said Nicki Wright. “I am excited to join the POCN team and work to expand and support professional resources for the NP and PA community across the U.S.”
Most recently, Nicki Wright directed member engagement in the health sector at Healthcasts Media, a member-based digital media platform used by HCPs. Here, she oversaw development and execution of marketing programs. Prior to this role, Wright also managed marketing at Elsevier, where she launched 10 Centers of Excellence.
“Nicki brings a unique and fresh perspective from the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries to POCN,” says Richard Zwickel, CEO of POCN. “She is goal driven and always ready to take on a new challenge. Her dedication to the NP and PA community and healthcare space is key, and we look forward to the great work she will accomplish on our team.”
