We know there is a sizable demand for reliable high-speed internet and affordable data packages, in the RV, vanlife, overlander, cottage and camping space,” says Galambos. As more and more people gravitate to living in RVs, and working from home or from remote areas, as a result of an urban exodus due to the pandemic, SIM sees a growing market in WiFi hotspots and a need for data. “RVers or those in remote areas, either long term or weekend warriors, want the security of real-time GPS for their asset, and access to a good WiFi hotspot for work and family connectivity.”
SIM will be offering 1GB, 5GB, 10GB, 20GB and unlimited North American cellular data plans. The data plans can be purchased for use in the new WiFi Tracker, or separate for use in any compatible, unlocked cellular WiFi device. The monthly DataToGo plans are purchased online or by phone, have no contracts, will never have any overage fees and are easily expandable to meet individual data needs.
